Product information

  • Our coating is ceramic, and its non-stick properties are created using silicon. The technology is called SolGel. It is non-toxic and made without any PFAS chemicals.

Silicon is an inert substance found naturally both in the human body and in nature.

  • All our products are designed here in Sweden with the goal of creating some of the best kitchen products on the market. Our frying pans are developed together with professional chefs, with every detail carefully considered, from the ergonomic handle and the pan's depth to the shape of the rim, to make cooking as smooth as possible.

Our frying pans/pots are manufactured in the EU, primarily in Germany, Poland, and Italy, depending on the product. All our baking trays are manufactured in Sweden.

Our circular Re-Coat system is also based in Småland, where pans are renewed instead of being discarded. Our office and warehouse are located in Partille, outside Gothenburg.

We are a Swedish company focused on quality, functionality, and long-term value - not mass-produced dropshipping products from the other side of the world.

  • Yes! All our products are coated with the same ceramic, non-toxic coating (free from PFAS) and are designed to be recoated in our circular system—again and again. Smart, sustainable, and circular.

  • Our patented oven trays are made with patented Ipinium technology, allowing you to sear your food from below and bake it from above, all at the same time in your oven. They are made of lightweight aluminum (100% recycled material) and a secret ingredient that enables them to quickly absorb the temperature around the tray.

If you put them in the oven, they get very hot, very quickly, giving your food a seared surface underneath, shortening cooking time, and preserving the texture, nutrients, and flavor of your ingredients.

If you put them in the freezer, they become very cold, very quickly—making them a fantastic ice cream/dessert mold.

If you place frozen food on top of one of OnePan's searing trays, even at room temperature, the food will thaw four times faster than if you place it on a plate. True story.

  • Because our products are designed to withstand Re-Coat after Re-Coat in our circular system, we are confident enough in their performance, quality, and durability to offer all our customers a lifetime warranty. The lifetime warranty covers all parts of the frying pan, except for our recoatable non-stick coating.

This is because all coatings (think house paint or nail polish) naturally wear down with use. To prevent countless perfectly functional frying pans and baking trays from ending up in landfill simply because the top layer has worn out, we have created a circular system that allows you to restore your products to like-new condition—again and again.

When you buy a OnePan, it should be the last time you ever buy a new frying pan.

  • When you buy or acquire a OnePan product, you are invited to join a circular system where no material goes to waste unnecessarily. To officially become a member of our circular re-coating family, you must register your product using its serial number. This can be found either underneath the frying pan or on a warranty card that came with the box, depending on which generation you purchased. You can register all your OnePan products here. Other benefits of registering your OnePan products include:

  • No pre-treatment is required, but for optimal durability of the pan’s non-stick coating, you can occasionally grease the frying pan with cooking fat after washing it.

  • No worries! If you don't remember the size of your frying pan, place a measuring tape or ruler straight across the top and measure from outer edge to outer edge to find out the diameter of your frying pan.

If you can't measure it at home, you can easily check your order confirmation if you have it. Alternatively, don't hesitate to contact us directly—we'll be happy to help you find the right size.

  • OnePan is designed to withstand everything—ovens, high temperatures, open flames, and dishwashers. But just like any other item in your home, your OnePan will last longer if you take care of it with love. This way, you won’t need to restore the coating as often, which is good for both your wallet and the environment.

You can find all our care instructions HERE.

Re-Coat

  • Has your non-stick coating started to stick?

No problem. Instead of throwing away a frying pan that otherwise works perfectly, we can restore your OnePan to its original like-new condition. Check which size and model of OnePan you have at home. Add a Re-Coat for your product to your cart and check out as usual. Here's what will happen:

    1. We will send you a OnePan that has already been restored to like-new condition—one that works and feels just like a new pan.
    2. Use the same box to send your old OnePan back to us. We have included a return label for a smooth return.
    3. Once we have received your frying pan, we will work our magic, restore it to like-new condition, and prepare it for the next person who orders a Re-Coat.

    In brief:

For one-third of the price of a new premium frying pan, you can order a Re-Coat for your OnePan and receive a like-new pan from our circular system—which also helps you reduce CO2 emissions by up to 95% compared with buying a new frying pan.

  • All non-stick coatings have different lifespans depending on how they are treated and how often they are used. Since the owner of the frying pan may cook in it anywhere from once a week to three times a day, it is impossible to give a lifespan that applies to everyone. It is also a matter of personal preference when you feel that it no longer performs as it should.

Our rule of thumb is therefore to order a Re-Coat when you would normally have thrown away your non-stick frying pan.

To extend the life of your non-stick coating as much as possible, we recommend checking out our care instructions.

  • In an ideal world, we would of course have done this.

Unfortunately, the majority of frying pans are not designed to withstand a Re-Coat. Less durable frying pans will deform and lose their shape if they go through our Re-Coat process. More durable, premium frying pans often have handles that are either made of plastic or attached to the pan, making them impossible to coat.

PFAS

  • PFAS, short for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, are a group of up to 11,000 man-made chemicals that have been used worldwide since the 1940s. These substances are characterized by their ability to repel water, grease, oil, and heat, which makes them popular in a wide range of products, including non-stick coatings on frying pans, water-repellent clothing, firefighting foam, and certain types of packaging materials.

The problem with PFAS is their persistence; they do not break down in nature or in the human body, which causes them to accumulate over time and become so-called microplastics.

Long-term exposure to PFAS has been linked to a range of health problems, including cancer, hormonal disruption, and a weakened immune system. Despite this, unfortunately, most PFAS substances are still not banned from the market and continue to hide behind misleading information.

    Learn more about PFAS here.

  • Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are a family of more than 10,000 known harmful chemicals. Among them are PFOA and PFOS.

To make this jungle even harder to navigate, many frying pan brands misleadingly advertise their products as "PFOA/PFOS-free." This does not indicate that they are free from all PFAS chemicals, which is what you should look for.

PTFE is the technical name for highly fluorinated coatings, all of which contain PFAS.

The most common is 'Teflon,' which is a brand of non-stick coatings. However, Teflon is just one of hundreds of brands that use PFAS chemicals as an ingredient.

Our advice to you: don't be misled by claims that your pan is PFOA-free or PFOS-free; this is simply a way for manufacturers to try to mislead consumers into believing that their pan is non-toxic. Anything that is not completely PFAS-free may put your health, as well as the health of animals and the environment, at risk.

    Read more about PFAS here.

  • PFAS are a harmful group of man-made chemicals used in a wide range of products to repel grease, dirt, and water from a surface. They can be found in products such as makeup, candy wrappers, ski wax, waterproof clothing, and non-stick frying pans (such as Teflon). Research shows that PFAS increase the risk of both cancer and hormonal disruption, which can cause fertility problems in both men and women. They are also called "Forever Chemicals" because they can never be broken down by nature. This causes PFAS to accumulate in the environment and means they can be found in both the water we drink and the air we breathe.

A non-stick pan containing PFAS will release these toxic chemicals with the slightest scratch or when your frying pan is overheated. A OnePan does not, because we manufacture our products without using PFAS chemicals. Instead, we use a ceramic coating that can break down naturally and is harmless to the human body—even if you manage to scratch the pan.

  • Non-stick properties, provided that the coating is PFAS-free and non-toxic, offer many benefits. It is easy to care for, often lighter in weight, dishwasher-safe, easy to clean, suitable for cooking at all temperatures, and makes it easy to fry challenging dishes—even for less experienced cooks.

That said, cast iron and carbon/stainless steel also have excellent cooking properties. Although many of them are environmentally friendly and last a lifetime, they also present challenges. Cast iron can be heavy and requires relatively extensive maintenance, cannot be used in the dishwasher, and is not ideal for certain types of sauces, especially those containing acids.

This is why many households typically have at least one non-stick pan at home. Each material has its strengths and weaknesses, making non-stick a versatile and user-friendly choice. OnePan was created as a non-toxic and circular alternative to these non-stick pans.

  • The long-term effects of PFAS exposure may be more serious than many people realize and include:

    Health effects

Long-term exposure to high levels of PFAS has been linked to a range of health problems, including damage to the liver, kidneys, thyroid, and immune system. It has also been associated with certain types of cancer, hormonal disruption, and reproductive problems.

    Environmental impact

PFAS are highly resistant to degradation and can therefore accumulate in the environment and in the body in ways that may be harmful to both humans and animals. In addition, PFAS can spread far from their original source and affect ecosystems on a global scale.

    Long-term exposure

Although a single exposure to small amounts of PFAS does not necessarily cause immediate health problems, long-term exposure over time can lead to an accumulation of these chemicals in the body and thereby increase the risk of health problems.
